On the afternoon of March 20, Pan Feng, Vice Chairman of CEATEC and President of ECECDC, met with Mircea CIULU, Consul General of Romania in Hong Kong, and held a working meeting in Hong Kong. The two sides held in-depth exchanges on China–Romania economic and trade cooperation, investment promotion, and people-to-people exchanges. They also discussed a number of upcoming initiatives, including the Global Geographical Indication Products Expo (GIPE), the China–Germany (China-Europe) Hidden Champions Forum, the European Diplomats Visit Shunyi program, and the China–Europe Business Leaders and Former Senior Officials Dialogue. Both sides agreed to fully leverage Hong Kong's unique advantages as an international financial, trade, and shipping center, and, by relying on the platform of the Europe–China Economic Cooperation and Development Council, to further strengthen pragmatic cooperation between Romania and China in areas such as economic and trade exchanges, industrial alignment, and investment promotion.
